FAQ - Answers to your questions!
Who am I?
My name is Fleur Nabert, and I am a mother of three little girls. I am a sculptor, and I have been creating works in bronze and glass, large and very large, since I was 16 years old. I have extended my creations not only to large venues, churches, and basilicas, but also to individuals, through meaningful jewelry or glass icons to illuminate a prayer corner.
Do I make the jewelry and icons myself?
Yes, absolutely! Since orders have grown significantly, I've surrounded myself with a team of jewelers to whom I explain my designs and who reproduce them. There are no machines, no industrial processes; everything is handmade in my workshop in Neuilly-sur-Seine for the jewelry. For the icons, I make all of them myself in the workshop of my master glassmaker, Bruno Loire, in Chartres.
Can I change my mind?
Of course, just like in real life! You have 14 days to request an exchange or return. During the Christmas period, this option is extended until January 15th, allowing you to choose your gifts with peace of mind and change your selection if needed.
Does the gilding hold up well?
Yes, yes, and yes! I hate it when my jewelry loses its gilding. I pay close attention to this by having my gilding done in 3 microns (the maximum for costume jewelry) in France, using stainless steel or gold-filled. However, it's important to remember that only solid gold is gilded throughout the metal's depth... but at a cost 10 to 20 times higher.
What is gold-filled?
It's a plating on brass that comes from the United States and is thicker than our European platings. To help you understand it with a simple image:

Are these creations fragile?
For resin jewelry, not at all. I am a mother of three young children, and I wanted jewelry that could withstand everyday life! They look like glass but are not as fragile. Besides, you couldn't include anything in glass; everything would burn. Polymer clay requires slightly more care but remains quite resistant.
What are the care instructions?
These are high-quality costume jewelry, not solid gold. How you wear them guarantees the longevity of their brilliance.
- For rings, it's best to remove them before using hand sanitizer, which is very aggressive, or even before washing your hands. Jewelry glue for stones doesn't like water!
- For jewelry and chains, avoid direct contact with perfume, which, depending on its formula, can damage the surface.
- Ideally, remove them for showering, and imperatively for swimming pools and sea bathing. Some customers keep them on all the time. Personally, I prefer to live with my jewelry... I simply know that, like everything on earth, they will develop a patina over time.
- When not wearing them, it's good to keep them in the shade of a jewelry box. I also specify this in the care leaflet you receive. I use the best resins available, but they can be sensitive to certain skin pH levels or prolonged UV exposure, like any object (think of objects left near a window that change color!). The more you care for your costume jewelry by protecting it from light when not wearing it, the longer it will remain beautiful. Over time and depending on use, it may develop a honey-like patina.
As for the icons, I send them in foam-reinforced boxes. They should be handled with the normal care required for a glass object, and you should not touch the gold leaf.
Are the creations limited editions?
Yes, by virtue of being handmade. One could even say that each creation is unique because the hand never makes the exact same gesture twice, nor does nature create two identical flowers.
Are the large earrings heavy?
Not at all! I love earrings, but I have painful memories of Venetian glass earrings that hurt my earlobe. Resin has the genius of truly weighing as little as a feather. Similarly, when I mount clip-on earrings, I've found ones that can be adjusted with a small screw to the exact size of the lobe, so they won't torture your ears!
What is the thickness of a resin medal?
A number of models have a thickness of 5 mm, which allows for depth and the creation of movement inside, or colored backgrounds and crystalline surfaces. Others, surrounded by a golden circle, are thin like a regular medal, i.e., 1.5 mm.
How long does it take to receive an order?
When I order something, I appreciate receiving it quickly. So I try to do the same! For jewelry, I process your orders within 24 to 48 hours. Then the post office takes between 1 and 3 days for tracked mail. We offer parcel relay / Chronopost Express / FedEx options for international shipments. For icons, I start the gilding the day I receive the order and send it about 6 business days later, allowing time for it to dry. In all cases, you will be notified by email when your order leaves my workshop, and a tracking number will allow you to locate it.
Can I purchase a creation and have it sent to someone as a gift?
Yes, absolutely. You have the option to purchase a creation and indicate a delivery address different from the billing address. However, if you need to send two different pieces of jewelry or two icons to two different people, you will need to place two separate orders, because the website can only manage one delivery address at a time.
Can I have gift wrapping?
I try to take great care with every shipment I make. Jewelry is sent in an organza pouch with a botanical element, and icons are carefully wrapped in a reinforced box. On the "Cases and Chains" collection page, you can choose different options: the possibility of adding a natural or white leather case, a chain if the person doesn't have one, or even a small bag if it's for an outdoor gift and needs to be carried somewhere. Similarly for icons, as I've seen you give them as gifts for weddings, baptisms, or communions, there's also the option to take a bag to carry the icon, its stand, and its certificate to the celebration venue.
I have a discount code, where should I enter it?
At checkout, there's a small box where you can enter a code. On the next page, the discount will appear at the very top (on mobile) in the "Order summary" and the code will adjust the shopping cart total.
Are the jewels accompanied by an explanation?
Yes, always. Each piece of jewelry comes with a card explaining its meaning.
Are the jewels visible in stores?
Yes, and increasingly so! The list can be found here.
Is it possible to visit the Neuilly workshop and see the creations?
The workshop is not a shop, but it can be visited by appointment by sending me an email or a message via the contact form.
If a question is missing from this list, please don't hesitate to ask me, and I will add it!
