The more I advance in my work as a jewelry designer, the more I believe that faith can be combined with fashion codes. Without losing any of its soul, but on the contrary, by giving fashion a soul! I really like tortoiseshell material, it brightens up autumn and can be worn in all seasons, adding warmth to the face.

Instead of being "just" a pretty tortoiseshell jewel, it is a presence in our lives. We don't just dress in a shade, we wear the gentleness of the Virgin Mary, through the miraculous medal, throughout the day. It inspires us and - who knows -  also manifests itself through our jewelry, for those we meet.

Handmade jewelry, tortoiseshell imitation sequin

 

3 cm in diameter (no turtles were harmed!), miraculous medal from Rue du Bac. Bail and ring in 3-micron gold plating, ornate stainless steel stud earrings (the model is not adaptable for clips). The earring has a total height of 5 cm and is extremely light to wear throughout the day, it's imperative in my opinion to maintain this comfort and never have an anvil on your ear ;-) As the photos show, the sequins are all slightly different, thus preserving the charm of real tortoiseshell.
