A NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
As a sculptor, I have used gold leaf extensively. It holds a unique power for me: when the light fades, its glow remains and becomes even more moving, like a reflection of grace. I named this creation Croix de Gloire for that reason: it evokes the presence of God, that light that shines despite the darkness, and lasts forever.

The quatrefoil cross is a very ancient shape, often found in Romanesque churches. In this piece, 24-karat gold sheet is used as an applied layer, delicately placed by hand, to follow the shape and capture the light. The precise gesture creates a luminous, radiant cross like a sun, to carry one’s faith in daily life in a radiant way. This design is also available in sleeper earrings, or as a full set: cross + earrings. This piece is sent in a floral organza pouch. It comes with a scented card featuring a spiritual quote, meant to be kept as a bookmark.

I have miniaturized all of this expertise into jewelry, with the same sense of spatial arrangement. A sculpture needs empty space around it to sing; a piece of jewelry is a dialogue between an outer form and the treasure it contains.
