FAQ - Answers to your questions!

Who am I?
My name is Fleur , and I am the mother of three girls. I am a sculptor; I have been creating great very large-scale works in bronze and glass since I was... 16 years old. I have expanded my creative work beyond large venues, churches, and basilicas to include individual people as well—through meaningful jewelry or glass icons designed to illuminate a quiet corner for prayer.

Do I make the jewelry and icons myself?
Yes, absolutely! Since orders have increased significantly, I’ve surrounded myself with a team of jewelry artisans, to whom I explain my designs and who ensure they’re reproduced. There are no machines, no industrial processes—everything is handmade in my jewelry workshop in Neuilly-sur-Seine. As for the icons, I create them all myself in the workshop of my master glassmaker, Bruno Loire, in Chartres.

Can you change your mind?
Of course, just like in real life! You have 14 days to request an exchange or return. During the holiday season, this period is extended until January 15, so you can choose your gifts at your leisure and change your mind if necessary.

Is the glazing holding up well?
Yes, yes, and yes! I hate it when my jewelry loses its luster. I take this very seriously, which is why I have my pieces gold-plated to a 3-micron thickness (the maximum for costume jewelry) in France, using stainless steel or gold-filled metal. Keep in mind, however, that only solid gold is gold-plated all the way through the metal... but at a cost that’s 10 to 20 times higher.

What is gold-filled?
It is a type of plating on brass that originated in the United States and is thicker than our European plating. To explain it simply with an image:

Are these pieces fragile?
Not at all, when it comes to resin jewelry. I’m a mother of three young children, and I wanted jewelry that could withstand the rigors of daily life! It looks like glass but isn’t as fragile as glass. Besides, you couldn’t include anything inside glass—it would all burn. Polymer clay requires a little more care but is still very durable.

What are the care instructions?
These are high-quality costume jewelry pieces, not solid gold; how you care for them ensures that they retain their shine.

- For rings, it’s best to remove them before using an alcohol-based solution, which is very harsh, or even before washing your hands. The jewelry adhesive used for stones does not like water!

- For jewelry and chains, avoid direct contact with perfume, which, depending on the formula, can damage the surface.

- Remove them before showering, ideally, and absolutely before swimming in pools or the ocean. Some customers wear them all the time. Personally, I prefer to live with my jewelry... I simply know that, like everything on earth, they will develop a patina over time.

- When not wearing them, it’s best to store them in the shade of a jewelry box; I also specify this on the care tag you receive. I use the best resins available, but they can be sensitive to certain skin pH levels or prolonged exposure to UV rays, just like any object (think of items left near a window that change color!). The more you take care of your costume jewelry by protecting it from light when you’re not wearing it, the longer it will stay beautiful. Over time and depending on how it’s used, it may develop a honey-colored patina.

As for the icons, I ship them in foam-padded boxes; they must be handled with the usual care required for glass objects, and you must not touch the gold leaf with your fingers

Are the pieces limited editions?
Yes, precisely because they are handmade. You could even say that each piece is unique, because the hand never makes exactly the same movement twice, just as nature never creates two identical flowers.

Are large earrings heavy?
No, not at all! I really love earrings, but I have painful memories of Venetian glass earrings that hurt my earlobes. Resin has the wonderful quality of being as light as a feather. Similarly, when it comes to clip-on earrings, I’ve found some that can be adjusted with a small screw to fit your earlobe perfectly, so they won’t hurt your ears!

How thick is a resin medal?
Some models are 5 mm thick, which allows for depth and creates movement within the design, as well as colored backgrounds and crystal-clear surfaces. Others, framed by a gold border, are as thin as a standard medal—1.5 mm.

How long does it take to receive my order?
When I order something, I appreciate receiving it quickly. So I try to do the same! For jewelry, I process your orders within 24 to 48 hours. Then, shipping takes 1 to 3 days with trackable delivery. We offer pickup options at a pickup point / Chronopost Express / FedEx for international orders. For icons, I begin the gilding process the day I receive the order and ship it approximately 6 business days later, once it has dried. In any case, you will be notified via email when your order leaves my workshop, and a tracking number will allow you to track it.

Yes, absolutely. You can purchase an item and specify a shipping addressthat is different from the billing address. However, if you need toship two pieces of jewelry or two iconsto two different people, you will need to place two separate orders. This is because the website can only process one shipping address at a time.

Can I get a gift box?
I take great care with every shipment I send. The jewelry is packaged in an organza pouch with a natural element, and the pendants are carefully packed in a reinforced box. On the "Boxes and Chains" collection page, you can choose from several options: the option to add a natural or white leather box, a chain if the recipient doesn’t have one, or even a small bag if it’s a gift to take out and needs to be carried somewhere. Similarly, for the icons—since I’ve seen them given as gifts to newlyweds, or for a baptism or First Communion—there’s also the option to get a bag to carry the icon, its stand, and its certificate to the celebration venue.

I have a discount code. Where do I enter it?
When you're at the checkout, there's a small field where you can enter a code. On the next page, the discount will appear at the top (on mobile) in the "order summary," and the code will update the total amount in your cart.

Does the jewelry come with a description?
Yes, always. Each piece of jewelry comes with a tag explaining its meaning.

Are the jewelry pieces available in stores?
Yes, and more and more of them! You can find the list here.
Can I visit the workshop in Neuilly and see the creations?
The workshop is not a store, but you can visit it by appointment by sending me an email or a message through the contact form.

If there's a question missing from this list, feel free to ask me and I'll add it!
