I love the Sacred Heart. Not so much the image of the 19th century as the heart of fire that reigns on the chest of Saint Charles de Foucauld. Lost in his desert loving God and his brothers. This love which radiates and which is the heart of faith.
This glass icon is a hand-sculpted piece, thermoformed in glass at over 800 degrees. I added colored glass powder before firing, which mixed with the neutral glass during firing. It is enhanced with 24 carat gold leaf.
It is sent in a special box, protected and delivered with a plexiglass support which allows it to stand upright, as well as a certificate of authenticity of the work.
Its small size allows it to be placed on a desk. It has the particularity of being able to be placed on both sides (see photos). Dimensions 10 x 20 x 0.5 cm.
