"My vocation, at last I've found it, my vocation is love. "
- Saint Therese of Lisieux
It's quite overwhelming for an artist to create a rosary. It's a long, patient process that aims to join people in the very intimate gesture that is praying. It's a powerful object, full of meaning... that will reach souls. I took this process to heart. And I entrusted it to the person who taught me best how to pray: Saint Therese of Lisieux, that incomparable friend of heaven.
Throughout the design process, I was guided by three imperatives:
A demand for QUALITY
The beads of this rosary are made of natural mother-of-pearl and rhodonite, a pink semi-precious stone whose color, as well as its properties in lithotherapy, are gentle and soothing. Each bead is hand-mounted in my workshop in France.
A demand for CREATIVITY
I wanted to design this rosary from scratch: I created its rose petal cross with a white gold leaf heart. I also hand-crafted the medallion at the heart of the rosary. It features the sweet face of Saint Therese as a child, surrounded by rose petals. This rosary is completely unique.
A demand for DELIGHT and DEPTH
Those who are familiar with this site know that each shipment is made with the utmost care, and always with flowers. Here, the rosary is sent with a delightful gift box adorned with finely gilded rose leaves, an organza bag for keeping the rosary in your bag, and eternal rose petals. A detailed booklet is also included to help you discover and/or deepen the rosary prayer, with the help of Saint Therese and her trusting, luminous faith. A sort of instruction manual to help you make the rosary not only beautiful, but also a living experience!
I hope it will accompany you in your moments of prayer, when we draw from the depths of our hearts to the source of God's joy, the joy that lights up everything in this life!
