I love the Sacred Heart. Not so much the 19th-century image as the fiery heart that beats in Saint Charles de Foucauld’s chest. Lost in his desert, loving God and his brothers. This radiant love, which is the heart of faith.
This model is the glass and gold version of the red Sacred Heart. It is a hand-sculpted piece of glass that was thermoformed at over 800 degrees. I added powdered colored glass before firing, which blended with the neutral glass during the firing process.
It is embellished with 24-karat gold leaf.
It is shipped in a special box, protected and accompanied by a plexiglass stand that allows it to stand upright, as well as a certificate of authenticity for the artwork.
Its small size makes it easy to place on a desk. Dimensions: 10 x 20 x 0.5 cm.
