FAQ - Answers to your questions!
Who am I?
My name is Fleur , and I am the mother of three young daughters. I am a sculptor, and I have been creating large and very large works in bronze and glass since I was 16. I have expanded my work not only to large venues, churches, and basilicas, but also to private clients. This includes meaningful jewelry and glass icons designed to illuminate a prayer corner.
Do I make the jewelry and icons myself?
Yes, absolutely! As orders have grown significantly, I have built a team of jewelers whom I brief on my designs, and they handle the production. There are no machines or industrial processes; all the jewelry is handmade in my workshop in Neuilly-sur-Seine. As for the icons, I make them all myself at the workshop of my master glassmaker, Bruno Loire, in Chartres.
Can I change my mind?
Of course, just like in real life! You have 14 days to request an exchange or return. During the holiday season, this period is extended until January 15, so you can choose your gifts with confidence and change your selection if needed.
Does the gilding hold up well?
Yes, yes, and yes! I hate it when my jewelry loses its gold plating. I take great care to ensure this doesn't happen by having my pieces gold-plated to a thickness of 3 microns (the maximum for costume jewelry) in France, using stainless steel or gold-filled materials. However, it's important to remember that only solid gold is plated all the way through the metal... but at a cost that's 10 to 20 times higher.
What is gold-filled?
It is a type of plating applied to brass that originated in the United States and is thicker than the plating used in Europe. To help you understand it with a simple illustration:

Are these pieces fragile?
Not at all when it comes to resin jewelry. As a mother of three young children, I wanted jewelry that could withstand the rigors of everyday life! They look like glass but aren’t as fragile. Besides, you can’t put anything inside glass; everything would burn. Polymer clay requires a little more care but is still quite durable.
What are the care instructions?
These are high-end costume jewelry pieces, not solid gold, so how you wear them determines how long they will retain their shine.
- For rings, it’s best to remove them before applying hand sanitizer, which is very harsh, or even before washing your hands. The adhesive used to secure gemstones doesn’t mix well with water!
- For jewelry and chains, avoid direct contact with perfume, which, depending on the formula, can damage the surface.
- Ideally, remove them before showering, and definitely before swimming in pools or the ocean. Some customers wear them all the time. Personally, I prefer to live with my jewelry... I simply know that, like all things on earth, they will age gracefully.
- When not wearing them, it’s best to keep them in the shade of a jewelry box. I also specify this in the care instructions you receive. I use the best resins available, but they can be sensitive to certain skin pH levels or prolonged UV exposure, just like any object (think of items left near a window that change color!). The more you care for your costume jewelry by protecting it from light when you're not wearing it, the longer it will remain beautiful. Over time and depending on use, it may develop a honey-like patina.
As for the icons, I ship them in foam-reinforced boxes. They should be handled with the normal care required for a glass object, and you should not touch the gold leaf.
Are the pieces limited editions?
Yes, because they are handmade. We could even say that each piece is unique, since the hand never makes the exact same movement twice, just as nature never creates two identical flowers.
Are the large earrings heavy?
No, not at all! I love earrings, but I have vivid memories of Venetian glass earrings that hurt my earlobes. Resin has the advantage of being as light as a feather. Similarly, when I wear clip-on earrings, I've found ones that can be adjusted with a small screw to fit the exact size of the earlobe, so they won't hurt your ears!
What is the thickness of a resin medal?
Some models are 5 mm thick, which allows for depth and the creation of movement within the medal, as well as colored backgrounds and crystalline surfaces. Others, framed by a gold circle, are as thin as a standard medal, i.e., 1.5 mm.
How long does it take to receive an order?
When I order something, I like to receive it quickly. So I try to do the same! For jewelry, I process your orders within 24 to 48 hours. Then the post office takes between 1 and 3 days for tracked mail. We offer Parcel Relay, Chronopost Express, and FedEx options for international shipping. For icons, I begin gilding the day I receive the order and ship it approximately 6 business days later, allowing time for it to dry. In all cases, you will be notified by email when your order leaves my workshop, and a tracking number will allow you to track its progress.
Can I purchase an item and have it sent to someone as a gift?
Yes, absolutely. You can purchase an item and provide a shipping address that is different from the billing address. However, if you need to send two pieces of jewelry or two icons to two different people, you will need to place two separate orders, as the website can only process one shipping address at a time.
Can I have my order gift-wrapped?
I take great care with every shipment I send. Jewelry is sent in an organza pouch with a botanical accent, and icons are carefully packed in a reinforced box. On the "Cases and Chains" collection page, you can choose from various options: the option to add a natural or white leather case, a chain if the recipient doesn’t have one, or even a small bag if it’s a gift meant to be taken somewhere. Similarly, for icons—since I’ve seen you give them as gifts for weddings, baptisms, or communions—there’s also the option to include a bag to carry the icon, its stand, and its certificate to the celebration venue.
I have a discount code. Where do I enter it?
At checkout, there's a small box where you can enter a code. On the next page, the discount will appear at the very top (on mobile) in the "order summary," and the code will adjust the cart total.
Do the pieces of jewelry come with an explanation?
Yes, always. Each piece of jewelry comes with a card explaining its meaning.
Are the jewelry pieces on display in stores?
Yes, and more and more so! You can find the list here.
Can I visit the workshop in Neuilly and see the pieces?
The workshop is not a store, but you can visit it by appointment by sending me an email or a message via the contact form.
