The more I progress in my work as a jewelry designer, the more I believe that faith can be seamlessly integrated into fashion. Not by losing its essence, but rather by infusing fashion with a sense of purpose! I really love tortoiseshell; it brings a warm glow to autumn and can be worn all season long, adding a touch of warmth to any outfit.

Instead of being "just" a pretty piece of tortoiseshell jewelry, it is a constant presence in our lives. We don't just wear a color; we wear the gentleness of the Virgin Mary, through the Miraculous Medal, all day long. It inspires us and—who knows—may also be reflected in our jewelry for those we meet.

Personally, I especially like to wear it with the double Saint chain to create a long necklace look.

Handmade jewelry, imitation tortoiseshell sequin 3 cm in diameter (no turtles were harmed!), Miraculous Medal from Rue du Bac. Bail and ring with a 3-micron gold plating. As the photos show, the sequins are all slightly different, thus retaining the charm of genuine tortoiseshell.
