To experience Lent deeply, I created a journal to fill out this year. Nothing too demanding: a few lines, or even just a few words, for two 5-minute sessions each day... to bring about a transformation of the heart. A sentence from the day’s Gospel > an intention > a reflection in the evening. Every 10 days, a page allows you to reflect on the graces you’ve received.
I believe very deeply in this approach. And it is you, by filling out the journal, who will make it perfectly tailored to your needs.
This is the journal-only version, without any jewelry. I strongly believe in the value of jewelry—such as a bracelet or a medallion—to remind us of our commitment this year, but I’ll leave that choice up to you.
