It is quite overwhelming for an artist to create a rosary. It is a long and patient work that will reach people in the intimate gesture of prayer. It is a strong and meaningful object... that will reach souls. I took this approach very much to heart. And I entrusted it to the one who best taught me to pray: Saint Therese of Lisieux, this incomparable friend of heaven.
Throughout the design process, three imperatives guided me:
A QUALITY requirement
The beads of this rosary are made of natural mother-of-pearl and rhodonite, a pink semi-precious stone whose color, as well as its properties in lithotherapy, are softness and soothing. Each bead of the rosary is assembled by hand in France and in my workshop.
A requirement for CREATIVITY
I wanted to think of this rosary in its entirety: I created its cross in rose petals with a heart in white gold leaf. I also created by hand the medallion which is at the junction in the heart of the rosary. It shows the sweet face of Saint Therese as a child surrounded by rose petals. This model of rosary is completely unique.
A requirement for DELICACY and DEPTH
Those who are familiar with this site know that each shipment is made with the greatest care, and always flowery. Here the rosary is sent with a delightful gift box decorated with finely gilded rose leaves, an organza bag to then keep the rosary in its bag, eternal rose petals. But also a complete booklet to help discover and or deepen the prayer of the rosary, with the help of Saint Therese and her confident and luminous faith. A kind of user guide so that this rosary, in addition to being beautiful, is lived!
