The more I progress in my work as a jewelry designer, the more I believe that faith can be combined with fashion codes, without losing any of its soul, but rather by giving fashion a soul! I really like the tortoiseshell material, it brightens up fall and can be worn all year round, adding warmth to an outfit.

Instead of being "just" a pretty piece of tortoiseshell jewelry, it's a presence in our lives. We don't just dress in a certain shade, we wear the sweetness of the Virgin Mary, through the miraculous medal, all day long. She inspires us and - who knows - she might also manifest herself through our jewelry, to those we meet.

I especially like to wear it with the Saint Nathalie double chain for a saltire effect.

Hand-crafted jewelry, imitation tortoiseshell sequin 1 3/16 in. in diameter (no tortoise were harmed suring this process!), rue du Bac miraculous medal. 3-micron gold-plated bail and ring. As shown in the pictures , the sequins are all slightly different, retaining the charm of genuine tortoiseshell.
