The Pope’s visit sparked a joy within me that I never expected. It brought believers out of the catacombs the world likes to imagine them in, it restored a breath of freedom and peace to Paris, which became an open-air cathedral, and most importantly, it showed us how we should be recognized as disciples: by this joy that is already a little bit of heaven on earth!
