"A great sign appeared in the sky: a Woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. " (Rev 12:1)
I love the image of the Virgin crowned with twelve stars. I have already created this as an icon. But I wanted to make it as jewelry too. This was a small feat: working with very tiny, delicate crystals AND ensuring that the back of the medal is always visible. This is a lengthy, complex jewelry piece to craft (which explains its slightly higher price.) But its glow and Marian majesty fill me with joy. The star family grows with this new deep green shade.
The medal is available in three sizes, as you can see in the photos.
This is the MINI 16 mm version (on the right in the first photo and the smallest when I wear all three — it’s shown in blue in the photo, but the size is identical in green), perfect for wearing as a necklace on the Jeanne chain or as a bracelet.
It is also offered in the classic 20 mm medal size, which is still quite understated, and the radiant large 25 mm size
The mini size is perfect for creating a fabric or metal bracelet to your liking (you’ll find some example combinations in the photos). It’s your turn to create ;-)
Gold-filled ring, gilded Miraculous Medal from the Rue du Bac, deep green mica, and twelve sparkling stones.
