Worship is essential for me, a place where I can lay everything down and regain strength. I find that inner warmth there, as if the soul is warmed by God’s sun. I created this small ostensory to keep close to me the memory of those heart-to-heart moments, with a discreet, contemporary jewel that can be worn anywhere.

This piece of jewelry evokes adoration and the intimate heart-to-heart experienced before the Blessed Sacrament, without claiming to replace it. Its sun shape echoes a miniature monstrance and the luminous whiteness of the Eucharist through a pearlescent heart. It translates a deeply Christian symbol into a contemporary, small, and discreet form. It can thus be worn in all circumstances without immediately suggesting a religious theme. This creation is sent in a floral organza pouch. It comes with a scented card featuring a spiritual quote, intended to be kept as a bookmark.

From sculpture to jewelry
For over twenty years, I have worked with clay, wax, bronze, wood, glass, and gold on a very large scale. I have miniaturized all of this expertise into jewelry, with the same sense of spatial arrangement. A sculpture needs empty space around it to sing; a piece of jewelry is a dialogue between an outer form and the treasure it contains.
