A jewelry piece worn with either the portrait side or the engraved rose side showing
A NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
Saint Therese is my best friend in Heaven. I turn to her in trials as well as great joys. Thinking about "BFFs" – my daughters' best friends forever – I wanted to offer you not just a piece of jewelry, but an inner journey: a medal and a letter to entrust her with what lies in your heart, and let your intentions be covered by the rain of roses she promised.

This creation is a set: a piece of jewelry and a letter. The medal features the gentle, childlike face of Saint Thérèse on one side and a delicate rose engraved on its golden background on the other. It can be worn as a bracelet or a necklace, with Saint Thérèse's face turned outward or more discreetly positioned against your heart, leaving only the rose visible. This jewelry, sent in a floral organza pouch, comes with a letter to fill out and an envelope addressed to the Lisieux sanctuary. Once stamped and mailed, the letter is entrusted to the nuns who pray for the intentions submitted at the sanctuary. It will not be returned to you; taking a photograph or photocopy lets you reread it a year later, to reflect on the path you’ve walked and the graces you’ve received.

From sculpture to jewelry
UNIQUE EXPERTISE
For over twenty years, I have worked with clay, wax, bronze, wood, glass, and gold on a very large scale. I have miniaturized all of this expertise into jewelry, with the same sense of spatial arrangement. A sculpture needs empty space around it to sing; a piece of jewelry is a dialogue between an outer form and the treasure it contains.
