A NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
The holy crown has overwhelmed me. Time stops around it. A desire rises in the soul to kneel and embrace the wood that touched the head of the sacrificed Love. It tells us that we are loved beyond all measure. I made a piece of jewelry from it: a golden crown that radiates on a deep blue cross, to keep this symbol and its vastness alive in memory.

From sculpture to jewelry
For over twenty years, I have worked with clay, wax, bronze, wood, glass, and gold on a very large scale. I have miniaturized all of this expertise into jewelry, with the same sense of spatial arrangement. A sculpture needs empty space around it to sing; a piece of jewelry is a dialogue between an outer form and the treasure it contains.
