A NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
As a sculptor, I have used gold leaf extensively. It holds a unique power for me: when the light fades, its glow remains and becomes even more moving, like a reflection of grace. I named this creation Croix de Gloire for that reason: it evokes the presence of God, that light that shines despite the darkness, and lasts forever.

The quatrefoil cross is a very ancient form, often found in Romanesque churches.
In this creation, 24-carat gold sheet is used in a flat foil form, delicately applied by finger, to follow the shape and capture the light.
The precise gesture creates a luminous, radiant cross like a sun, to carry one’s faith in daily life in a radiant way.
This design is also available as just the cross, or as a complete set including the cross + earrings.
This creation is sent in a floral organza pouch.
It comes with a scented card featuring a spiritual quote, designed to be kept as a bookmark.

Fleur-de-lis closed sleeper earrings in gold fill: a high-quality, durable gold plating. Or adjustable, comfortable clip versions in 925 silver plated with 24-carat gold (3 microns) with durable gold plating. Quadrilobed crosses in 24-carat gold leaf. Cross size 15 x 15 mm. Total earring height: 30 mm, very lightweight at 1.5 g per earring. The gold leaf applied inside will always vary slightly and have its own unique charm. For over twenty years, I have worked with clay, wax, bronze, wood, glass, and gold on a very large scale. I have miniaturized all of this expertise into jewelry, with the same sense of spatial arrangement. A sculpture needs empty space around it to sing; a piece of jewelry is a dialogue between an outer form and the treasure it contains.
