Everywhere on earth, it is the same Presence: calm, infinitely available, and tender. For this medal, I have created a monstrance that radiates with pearly clarity. Its purpose is to remind us of this safe harbor, always ready to hold us in the calm of its handle.

From sculpture to jewelry
For over twenty years, I have worked with clay, wax, bronze, wood, glass, and gold on a very large scale. I have miniaturized all of this expertise into jewelry, with the same sense of spatial arrangement. A sculpture needs empty space around it to sing; a piece of jewelry is a dialogue between an outer form and the treasure it contains.
