The Miraculous Medal revisited with a solar aesthetic
A joyful piece of jewelry inspired by the August 15 processions
A luminous sign of faith
A NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
In this piece of jewelry, I wanted to recapture the light from the August 15 processions of my childhood: the Virgin carried on the waves and the bright yellow of marigolds scattered across the sea. It holds the scent of that Mediterranean I love—its spontaneous fervor, its bell towers, and its sun. Terrazzo is, to me, an invitation to choose joy and let the light in.

At the center of a medallion in orange, yellow, and white tones, reminiscent of the Italian Terrazzo technique—the art of working with colored stone fragments—appears the Miraculous Medal from Rue du Bac. This large piece of jewelry looks particularly stunning worn as a single or double-strand sautoir on the double Sainte Blandine chain. It can be paired with the Terrazzo earrings to form a matching set. This creation comes with a scented card featuring a spiritual quote that can be kept as a bookmark.

Avoid contact with water, perfumes, cosmetics, and detergent products. Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or any sports activity. Store it away from prolonged exposure to sunlight, which can damage the resin. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth, then store it in a case, away from light.

From sculpture to jewelry
UNIQUE EXPERTISE
For over twenty years, I have worked with clay, wax, bronze, wood, glass, and gold on a very large scale. I have miniaturized all of this expertise into jewelry, with the same sense of spatial arrangement. A sculpture needs empty space around it to sing; a piece of jewelry is a dialogue between an outer form and the treasure it contains.
