By placing the Miraculous Medal on its graphic lines, I wanted to shake up the traditional image of Christian jewelry and affirm a conviction that runs through all my work: faith is radically timeless. From sculpture to jewelry
For over twenty years, I have worked with clay, wax, bronze, wood, glass, and gold on a very large scale. I have miniaturized all of this expertise into jewelry, with the same sense of spatial arrangement. A sculpture needs empty space around it to sing; a piece of jewelry is a dialogue between an outer form and the treasure it contains.
