It was important to me to create a virgin of tenderness. There is no doubt about the gentleness of this mother. But I also wanted to show the tenderness of the child Jesus towards her, which is why he gently places his hand on her cheek. It is the simple maternal and filial love of the earth, the infinite love of God for mankind. 

This piece is hand-sculpted and thermoformed in glass at over 800 degrees. I worked it with colored glass powders that melted into the material. It is double-sided. One side is in relief, the other is smooth and shiny. 


It is sent in special protective packaging and delivered with a plexiglass stand, which allows it to stand upright, as well as a certificate of authenticity.

Its small size allows it to be placed on a desk.
